In order to meet the challenging needs of corporate environment, it is not just sufficient for a student of commerce to be sound theoretically but must also be exposed to the outer world in a dynamic way to face practical life situations and deal with pressure. this club would help them get a glimpse into that.
Students in this group will be responsible for organizing and coordinating various co-curricular activities including ‘ECommParv’ the annual commerce fest at school. This would prove to be extremely useful for students as it would polish management and leadership skills and provide them with experience to start handling things independently at a very young age and build upon activities such as think on their feet, improving communication skills. Thus it will encourage students to be event managers as well.
The other activities proposed include
Regular inter section competitions such as cartoon making, logo designing etc so that students are able to showcase their creativity.
Inviting guest speakers for sharing their experiences.
Conducting interviews with business experts of the industry
Organizing quizzes based on course and non-course material (which could prove to be extremely useful tool for retention of what they studied in class)
Publishing articles of students about their views on the contemporary issues of the economy
It will also include field visits to factories and manufacturing visits that will help get an insight into the reality of the world.
